MetropolisNet is jointly responsible with the other project partners for the project described on this website from a data protection perspective. The Joint Control Agreement required under Article 26 of the GDPR has been concluded and contains provisions on the different areas of responsibility of the project partners. As a data subject, you can contact any of the project partners if you have any questions; your inquiry will then be forwarded internally to the responsible party.<\/p>\n

What is data processed for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Integrity, confidentiality, and availability<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a matter of principle, no complete IP addresses of web visitors are stored. At web server level, by default the last octet of the IP address is deleted from the log file. It is then no longer possible to establish a personal reference. The anonymised IP addresses are kept for 60 days. Details of the directory protection used are anonymised after one day.<\/p>\n

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest here is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of the data processed via this website.<\/p>\n

Cookies, Webanalyse & Co.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies and there is no web analysis. There are no videos or other content which transmit user data to their providers.<\/p>\n

Contacting us<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are transmitting certain data when you send us an e-mail or contact us by telephone or by post. This includes the sender\u2019s address or information which is part of your signature or your message. In addition, general data such as the time of sending or data which may be part of an attachment will be transmitted. When you make a call, data such as the telephone number used, or the duration of the call are recorded. If you contact us by post, we collect data on your address and the content of the document.<\/p>\n

At the end of a project, we check whether storing your data is still necessary or whether there are any project requirements for storing your data. Depending on this, data will either be stored for an additional time, or it will be deleted.<\/p>\n

Hosting Service Provider <\/strong><\/p>\n

We work with the company Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, who is the hosting partner and technical support of our website. The company is based in Germany; thus, all data processing also takes place in Germany. A contract for order processing has been concluded with the provider. The e-mail system for receiving and sending e-mails is technically provided to us by gsub mbH.<\/p>\n

What rights do you have regarding your data?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have the right at any time and free of charge to obtain information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data. According to Chapter III of the GDPR you also have the right to information, correction, or deletion of your data.<\/p>\n

In cases relating to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, you also have the right to object. This means that we will then no longer process your personal data unless there are legitimate grounds for it which override your interests, rights, and freedoms. This is also the case if data processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.<\/p>\n

Under certain circumstances and only to a limited extent, you also have the right to request that your personal data is processed or that your data is transferred.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, you have the right to complain or appeal to the responsible supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority is: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.<\/p>\n
